  1. Choose the right RCBC Bankard credit card for you.
  2. Go to your nearest RCBC branch to open an InstaCard account. Applicants shall be required to open a Savings Deposit account in any RCBC Branch following the required initial deposit and maintaining balance.
  3. Accomplish and submit the following required documents:
    • InstaCard Application Form (form available at the branch)
    • Savings Account Opening Forms (form available at the branch) 
    • Deed of Assignment (form available at the branch) 
    • Valid IDs
      
  1. Applicant must be at least 21 years old.
  2. Applications for InstaCard will only be processed if the Applicant does not have a delinquent RCBC Bankard account.
  3. A minimum hold-out deposit amount of P10,000/US$2,000 is required.
  4. The Deposit amount indicated by the client for InstaCard application shall be put on hold and shall be subject to the following:
    • The Deposit account number and amount specified in the Deed of Assignment and on the application form shall serve as the security collateral and credit limit for the card.
    • Credit Limit assignment shall be 95% of hold-out deposit. 
    • The hold-out amount shall be in effect until 60 days after the request for cancellation and until confirmed by RCBC Bankard. 
    • If credit card is cancelled, hold-out on the deposit can only be released after 60 days to allow posting of late billings. 
  5. Membership Fee is free for the first 12 months and lower than usual for succeeding months.

Cash Loan and Your Cash! Processing Fee A one-time processing fee of P250 if preferred cash disbursement is through RCBC bank deposit and P350 for non-RCBC bank deposit or check delivery. A reprocessing fee of P150 will be charged for errors on Recipient Account Details.
Service Fee for Foreign Currency Transactions For Peso Cards, 3.50% representing the Mastercard/Visa/JCB/UnionPay assessment fees and the Bank's service fee. For foreign currency transactions converted to Philippine Peso at point of sale, whether executed in the Philippines, abroad or online, a service fee of 2.25% shall be applied to transactions amounting to P1,000 and up, or its foreign currency equivalent. For Dollar Cards, 3.50% representing the Mastercard/ Visa/JCB/UnionPay assessment fees and the Bank's service fee. For transactions using currency other than USD converted to USD at point of sale, whether executed in the Philippines, abroad or online, a service fee of 2.25% shall be applied to transactions amounting to US$20 and up, or its foreign currency equivalent.
Multiple Payment Fee P40 for every payment in excess of 3 payments within a statement cycle in non-RCBC payment channels: Bancnet, BDO, BPI, CIS Bayad Center, SM Payment Center, Unionbank
Dormancy Fee P200 per month to be charged to a) active accounts with negative balance and no activity for 24 months, b) blocked/closed accounts with negative balance and no activity for 3 months
Over Limit Fee P600/US$12 to be charged at any time when the outstanding balance plus unbilled installment exceeds the permanent credit limit. The Over Limit Fee will be charged once within the statement cycle.

Minimum Amount Due Computed as (Total Statement Balance – Transactions Posted on the Current Statement - Amount Past Due – Current Late Charge) * 3% + (Amount Past Due + Current Late Charge + Current Over Limit Amount) OR Php500/US$15 whichever is higher. For Peso-Denominated Cards, the Minimum Amount Due is the rounded down to the nearest multiple amount of P100 for computed payment amount between P500 – P1,000, P500 for computed payment amount between P1,000 to P3,000 and P1,000 for computed payment amount above P3,000. For Dollar-Denominated Card, the Minimum Amount Due is the rounded down to the nearest multiple amount of USD1 for computed amount between USD15 – USD100 and USD10 for computed amount above USD100.
